- our vacation in Ameland. There are many beautiful spots on earth - Ameland is definitely it! Not for nothing Ameland is also called the Wadden diamond.
There are miles of beautiful sandy beaches - uncrowded, huge sand dunes and heathland with half-wild horses, cattle and goat herds. Green pastures for hundreds of fine horses, sheep and thousands of dike swarms of giant sea birds and gray geese. You can access the Holland wheels comfortably explore the island (over 100 km of cycle paths) and also make wonderful walking tours.
It was just only beautiful and certainly not the last time that we have visited this spot in the North Sea!
